Text: Colossians 1:12
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Bible Reading:
Colossians 1:3-18
Message:
Everyone that is born again is blessed. Being born again is to be redeemed from the effect and calamity of the sin of Adam which, like the sword of Damocles, dangles over the head of every man born into the world. If you are born again, you have an inheritance with the saints in light. Not that you worked for it; but you got it by grace through faith in the finished work on the cross. Many are on earth who heard the same Gospel that was preached to you and are yet adamant since the grace is yet to be extended to them. It is only those drawn by God that accepts the grace and enters into the Kingdom of the father through His dear Son, Jesus Christ. They have the benefit of being inheritors of the belongings of God. That may easily be lost on someone who is yet to know the latitude of the wealth of God. Are you born again? If you are, congratulations. Please be thankful to God continually for what you have and who you now are in Him. If you are not, it is a great loss. You know why? It is akin to being in squalor while dwelling in the midst of plenty. That can change today if you will accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior as well as submit yourself unto baptism. From thence on, you are welcome also to live in thanksgiving unto God for His grace. He loves you. He bestows so much on you that you don’t deserve ordinarily. Give Him thanks unreservedly today. God bless your day
Prayer:
Father I thank you for giving me the grace to know you and to be a partaker of your grace. Please accept my thanks and praises at all times in Jesus name.
