Text: Psalms 27:4
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.

Message:
God is light and shines in perpetuity. Because of His shining nature, He is so beautiful to behold. Every time the righteous comes into His presence, he encounters the beauty and shining of His countenance which radiates joy fully and pleasures evermore. Those who have found Him do not hesitate to come into His presence continually. To experience His beauty and presence, you must understand first that your body is built to be His tabernacle if you will purge it of iniquity and keep it clean for Him to dwell. Those in whom He dwells carry His beauty. Next, since He inhabits the praises of His beloved, you can find Him in places consecrated for His worship where the faithful gather. You are therefore expected to come into the gathering of the saints regularly in tone with King David’s desire. When you so do, God delights in you and gives you the benefit of His presence and the benefits thereof. In the presence of God, darkness fades away. Even though the enemy had been afflicting you hitherto, when you come into His presence as described, the affliction ceases. This is because at the mention of His name all knees bow. Whatever buffets you bows at the presence of God. Why then do some come to “church” with problems and return home the same, you ask? That is because some of those venues are not so consecrated but habitat of spiritual filth and darkness. God will not deny Himself. If you pursue His presence to worship Him in spirit and in truth among other brethren who are sold out to Him, you cannot miss His presence and the benefit thereof. You must be discerning to access His beauty. Follow His lead in choosing the gathering you curry.
Prayer:
Father, I open my heart unto you; purge me and make me clean that I may be your Habitation. Open my eyes to behold your beauty at all times and to be able to discern the right gathering of your saints to join in accessing your beauty, in the mighty name of Jesus.
