Message:
There is an abode in heaven. It is the domain of the King of kings. Many of His creatures that came before the advent of Christ looked forward so much to the advent but could not witness it. Nevertheless, they held on to God in faith because they had a focus to dwell with their King in that domain in the end. So, they did things by faith in God so as to win that heavenly abode. For this, God winked at their ignorance and accepted to be their father. Now, upon the sacrifice of Christ, the gateway to the heavenly abode is now open. As many as believe in the finished works of salvation have the passport and citizenship of heaven more like on a platter of gold. Access is granted by the reason of the blood of the lamb. This of course is what the people of old ached to have but never got. Ironically, now that it is given on a platter, many treat it with levity. And by this, though it be available, many will miss the opportunity because of their care free attitudes and ways of life. It is not enough to profess with your mouth the lordship of Jesus. It is important you live by His example for the rest of your life. That is when you prove your citizenship of the heavenly kingdom and be part of the kings belonging to the King. A life of waywardness will only lead to rejection and regret at the most crucial time. Are you still doing things Christ does not approve? Are you sure you desire that better country? Why should those who came before make it while you do not? Don’t because of minimal pleasure of life forfeit the Kingdom and the privilege of reigning with the King in the end. Avoid booby traps. That which you seek to do, would Christ have done so if it was Him? Repent
Prayer Guide:
Lord, I desire to be with you in the better heavenly country in the end. Help me to keep focus even to the very end that I may not miss it in Jesus name.
