The Eternal God

Focus: Isaiah 43:13 - KJV

13. Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

Psalms 90:1-12

Happy New Month dearly beloved. It is the very beginning of the last quarter in the year, and as the Lord lives, by His mercy, it will not be your last on earth in Jesus’ name. Today, God wants us to put our hearts unto wisdom. He is not one that is timed like we are: He dwells in eternity untimed. Unlike man on this side, God does not count days like we do. He dwells in a vantage position where He views the lives of men like the rushes in a movie. It is possible for Him to rewind or fast forward any portion of the movie to do what He pleases. For instance, He can view that in the future of a particular person, because of a present mistake, he would end ingloriously and therefore plant a catalyst in the present day to help forestall the impending doom. He is God. The story of Simon Peter easily comes to mind here. The Lord said the enemy sought to sift him like wheat but that he was prayed for. The effect of the prayer was that Peter did mess up but Christ returned for him in his sober state, to redirect his life, else he would have ended a colossal failure.

Many things happen to man as a result of the eternal personality of God. If not for His reordering things on our behalf, the short span we live on earth would have been much more devastating than it is. Like God used Christ for Peter, He may have prepared this Journal for the redirection of some from some imminent calamity. However, it is not all the time that God’s catalysts are able to prevent the doom ahead. That is why no matter the element used in sermonizing to anyone that would perish, he still would perish. There was no ransoming Judas Iscariot despite all the eye opener Christ presented to him. Paul preached to Agrippa as God’s catalyst but even as truthful and convincing his words were, it only just almost converted him. It never did. Micaiah told Ahab the doom that was waiting for him if he went to battle but he would never hearken until he got killed in the same battle. God is not wicked as some people think; He is just and will not force anything on a man outside his freewill.

Beloved, what the Lord has for us He has sent many to deliver to us in catalytic forms. Our reactions to the same determines our eventual fates and ending point in God’s eternity. If in this new month and quarter, we decide to yield to that which the Lord is instructing us to, it automatically transforms the end that the enemy had projected into our future; and what new position we have, becomes the Lord’s doing and no one can query Him concerning that. Let us therefore see our existence in this timed zone as nothing compared to where our God operates from and let it form in us, an instruction to follow the lead of the one who sees it all, and therefore knows the ending from the beginning, so that in our compliance, we may come to an expected end, as He and not the devil, purposes.

SOLUTION: God is intentional in wanting to redirect us from an evil ending to a righteous and glorious one. The way there is in being obedient to His dictates and following the lead of the catalyst He sends our ways.

Please pray: Father, you that know my ending from my very beginning, please take my life over and redirect it as you will, that I may come to the ending that you please, in Jesus’ name. Let not my life be a departure from the purpose for which you made me O Lord, in Jesus’ name. Please keep me shining for you to the very end in the name of Jesus Christ.

If you are blessed by this post, kindly share with your contacts, as well as others, that they may be blessed also. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly as you do so, in Jesus’ name.
