Key verse: Psalms 16:11
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Exodus 34:29-35
The Lord is Light and His radiance dispels darkness in all its ramification. This Light is One which is brighter than the sun. That was why there was a need for a cherub that covered to forestall the Light from harming the faces and eyes of lesser beings. When the earth was without form and void because of darkness, it was the Light of the presence of God that gave meaning to the earth by overwhelming darkness and putting it to flight. When this Light comes into the affairs of any, He makes the life of the same take a turn for better. But the Light, as beautiful as He is, often prefers that we seek His presence rather than He forcing Himself on us, except when it is extremely critical. When it became critical for Israel to be rescued from the bondage of Egypt, He sought Moses to be His emissary for the affair. When Saul of Tarsus was going about reducing witnesses of the Good News, He sought him out to make him find the truth.
The Light is so contagious that anyone that goes into His presence, gets struck by Him and the light of the countenance of such person is affected. Moses was in His presence to collect the law. When he returned, his face was lit up like the sun. Those who saw him respected him more and gave him attention. When Saul of Tarsus encountered His presence, although the brightness of the Light made his physical eyes dim, the same brightened up his eyes of understanding that he got fullness of joy and pleasures that he never recovered from. No wonder he said for him, to live was Christ and to die was gain. The easiest way to get into God’s presence is through His worship. He inhabits the praise of His people. That simply presupposes that He relates with them that are His and comes into their praise. When He so comes, He comes with His brightness. What that does is to blow away every issue of darkness. That will include sicknesses, barrenness, loneliness, unfruitfulness or lack and death.
Whatever it is you are facing today can be done away with if you will enroll with God through Christ and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Doing so brings to you His presence. You have the fullness of God with you doing so. You worship God the Father in (Holy) Spirit and in Truth (Jesus). Do you yet understand? What are you waiting for? Praise Him.
Pray: Father, I need your presence in my life. Please bring me there in Jesus name.
