9. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Colossians 1:19-20
When Jesus Christ was born a Son of Man, outside the immaculate conception, it all looked somewhat ordinary. But in the same being was combined the Trinity, bodily. He was born the Son of Man even though He is the Son of God as confirmed by God Himself with a voice in the presence of witnesses. He was anointed with the Holy Ghost and power, which means He carries the Holy Ghost by Himself. And He testified directly that He is in the Father as the Father is in Him. Hence, anytime we refer to Christ, we need to appreciate that we are making reference to divinity in total: Father, Son and the Holy Ghost. All that the Father can do, He did do and as the Son, He proved Himself. Of course, His going about doing good was evidence of being the carrier of the Holy Ghost, bodily.
The Almighty God created man in the beginning. When a man was found, in the days of Jesus, who was born without eyes, Christ simply created for him brand new set of eyes, thereby manifesting the person of the Father. Twice in scripture God manifested with a voice to affirm Jesus’ sonship unto men. He was able to do things that only a Son of God could do. When He was challenged if indeed, He was the Christ, Son of the living God, His response was simple: I am. I am? Sounds like the description God gave Moses for the Israelis in Egypt of Himself. So, was Christ simply saying He is the “I am that I am?” Now the Holy Spirit that we have, was sent in His name to teach us all things and bring to our remembrance those things He had taught us. Why? Because the Holy Spirit had always been a part of Him. No wonder He has a name above all other names. He is the LORD.
The Lord is bringing us to an understanding that if we denigrate the person of Jesus Christ for any reason, we do so at our own peril because we will be messing not only with Him as the Son of God but also with the Father and the Holy Spirit who are all complete in Him. Remember that God is Love and that there is no greater love than for a friend to lay down His life for His friends. Christ laid down His life for us proving that He is that Love. Unless we realize this and start to relate with Christ in that light, we are likely to miss out on the benefits of being in firm relationship with God. Hence, God is saying, whatever it is that He has told us why in the body, it is the Trinity that has said it and we should never take it for granted.
Please pray:
Father, I love you and thank you for being my father. I want to remain forever yours. I appreciate that you came in the body to take me out of bondage and add me to your glorious family. Please help me to keep understanding your essence and being for my overall existence, in Jesus’ name. Let no power of hell ever be able to confuse me regarding your personality, ever, in Jesus’ name. Please draw more men to the understanding of your person as the totality of the Godhead in one being, in Jesus’ name. Let the knowledge of you bring progress my way in life, from today in Jesus’ name.
Please share with others. God bless you.
