The Spirit of Liberty

Focus: 2 Corinthians 3:17 - KJV

17. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

John 3:1-10

When we speak about being born again, many people feign understanding without truly understanding. Man fell from grace when he committed sin in the garden of Eden. Falling from grace is losing the Spirit that God breathe into him to make him a living soul. To be born again is to regain that same Spirit back. Gaining Him back is to become connected to God again through a rebirth by the breath of God. That breath comes by accepting the fact that the Son of Man who was conceived and born of the Spirit has borne your sins and paid the price therefor. When that is done, the Spirit takes such a person over and liberates him from the bondage of sin brought upon man through disobedience to God and obedience to the enemy. Hence, every shackle of hell holding same bound hitherto, is taken off as he is no longer a prisoner of the devil but a child of God bearing now in himself, the Spirit of liberty.

Beloved, many are that claim to be born again but are not liberated. The reason is simple: they have not allowed the Spirit of liberty to enter into them. Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God. So, it doesn’t matter what we profess, if we do not have the Spirit of liberty in us we cannot come near the Kingdom of God. No one in bonds and shackles by reason of sin can enter there. Today, God is pinching your heart that you may understand that being born again is not a fashion but an act of carrying the Spirit of liberty by jettisoning the spirit of bondage. You want to be free from bondage? Get serious about receiving the Spirit of liberty.

SOLUTION: The way to liberty is in Christ Jesus. He is the firstborn in the Spirit. We can only access the Spirit through Him. We therefore need to accept His sacrifice for us and embrace Him as Lord and personal Savior. That brings the breath of God which puts in us the Spirit of liberty. Confess Christ today.

The Lord will receive you and make you His own by breathing upon you the breath of life in Jesus name. By the reason of the Spirit of liberty that you have, the issues of sin and bondage shall be far from you from hence in the name of Jesus.
