Focus: Malachi 3:16-17 - KJV
16. Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. 17. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
Deuteronomy 6:6-7
The plan of the Lord has always been to preserve the earth holy and make it as beautiful as His own abode in heaven. But, by the introduction of darkness on earth, this has been made rather difficult. Of course, God is Light and dwells in the light: so, wherever darkness abodes is an abomination unto Him. Nonetheless, because the earth belongs to Him, He has refused to leave it to darkness. He therefore, has a plan to ransom it, and like He ordained it from the beginning, give it to man to superintend, albeit in holiness. To achieve this, God has a plan of separation of the righteous man, from the unrighteous ones. The ones found righteous from generation to generation, have their names penned in a book, which is for those that must have life. These are them that we call believers.
The believers are known by special traits. Firstly, they are people of the word. Not only do they study and meditate in the word of God through which they understand the Lord and His expectations, they also speak about the word, one to another, as well as teach many others after themselves, to make them be like themselves. Secondly, by the understanding of the expectations of God, they fear Him and stick with His commands. As much as they have discovered that they are not able to achieve much without the Lord, they realize that their salvation from the terror of the enemy is in the name of the Lord, and therefore, think always on His name and hide in it. These ones are preserved by the Lord and guarded jealously like the apple of His eye. They are His jewels and invariably, made His sons.
The believers are those that will inherit the earth, whether we understand it or not. The Lord is going to clear up the earth as known, for them to take over, and make it be as it is in heaven, where there is joy everlasting. Those who carry the traits of the believer as enumerated are already experiencing heaven on earth, in the present formation. They have a glimpse of that which is to come. It is not difficult to be one of them. The important thing is to surrender to the Lord who will release to us the power to become the sons of God: those to whom the renewed earth will be delivered, the jewels of God.
SOLUTION: We can also be God’s jewels and sons, if we would submit to Him, learn His word and discuss, as well as teach it so that through it, many more may be turned to sonship. It is not enough to claim submission without exhibiting the fear of God, in doing His commands.
Pray thus: Lord, I want to reign with you and be with you forever. Help me therefore to understand your word, deliberate on it and teach it day and night; as I do, please, help me not to depart from your commands and do them. Count me to be part of your jewels, and thereby, your son in Jesus’ name. I will worship you forever by the help of your Spirit, in Jesus’ mighty name.
