Tribulation Days

Focus: Revelation 2:10 - KJV

10. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

John 16:32-33

The days of tribulation glare us in the face again. When Jesus was still on earth and before His departure, He told His followers what to expect upon His departure. They were already saddled with the responsibility of spreading the good news. He knew of course that darkness would fight back to stop the spread of the light and therefore He warned the believers of the time and now, He is warning us of this age also. We are to expect tribulation. There would be scattering and killing of many of the believers just for wanting to or actually spreading the truth about the Kingdom of God. What He said happened to the early believers; and it has started to happen now. Those responsible for the tribulation are agents of the devil who believe the world should be left to continue with the old order as proposed by the Tora which order is fraught with faults and lead to darkness. The devil has recruited many more now to do the same thing the persecutors of old did. They are non-Christians and some others who though identify as Christians but cannot cope with the demands of holiness. What they do is to look for faults of those who are known believers, whether the faults exist or are fabricated, and project it loudly for the world to hear. Such ‘faults’ that are never complained of when ‘ordinary’ men engage in them, are blown beyond proportion when it is about the believer. They forget the believer is not fully spirit yet and can make mistakes. Rather than help to restore, they hewn down with the aim to desecrate the whole body of Christ. They even claim the church is responsible for the decay in some societies. How come? They are accusers of the brethren in the similitude of their sponsor, the devil. The times are bad and we are to hold on to our believe that we may receive the crown of life.

Are you in the habit of criticizing the church or believers or pastors? You are only doing the devil’s bidding if you are. Please think again. Are you a believer and you are facing the heat of the current global tribulation where believers are being scattered and killed? Be of good cheer! Our Lord has gone to prepare a place for us and reserved the crown of life for us if we will endure to the end. Nothing the world shoves at us is enough to remove us from the love of Christ.

SOLUTION: Stop the hate against the Pastors and believers. It is directed against God. Stand your ground and lose no ground to the devil in tribulation. He seeks to cause a forfeiture of the crown of life. Don’t let him.

Father, the atmosphere where the believers live today is getting rather too hot. The enemy is advancing rapidly. If you don’t come to our aid many faithful shall be further deceived. Please come to the help of your church at this time to keep us all standing in Christ Jesus in Jesus’ name. Fortify us dear Lord with your hedge of fire and let us not be overwhelmed in tribulation in Jesus’ name.
