Focus: 2 Corinthians 2:14 - KJV

14. Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Ephesians 5:1-10

Triumph in Christ is a continuum for they that believe. It is an always phenomenon since light triumphs always over darkness. They that do know their God in Christ Jesus are strong and always doing exploits because Christ has victory over death, (which is the wages of sin,) and the grave (which is the harbinger of darkness). Hence, when there is a rush of darkness against the believer, by his knowledge of Christ and His victorious exploit, he is able to operate also in victory.

Peter is a great example of a believer and the victory we have always in Christ. On Pentecost, he could not be perturbed by the rulers of the Jews when he spoke tersely about the person and the victory of Christ and there was nothing darkness could do to cage him. Subsequently, he was arrested with a view to being beheaded afterwards, but he was delivered by an angel in a way that left the entire beings including himself, astonished. Despite his incarceration and all manner of moves against the Christian movement, he was never cowed from working for the Kingdom as he operated in victory.

For the users of this devotional, give thanks to God today for causing you to triumph always in Christ Jesus because even before the day is out, your victory over that current situation will be announced and celebration will be heralded in your home, in Jesus’ name. Let us be grateful to God for all His doings particularly for affording us victory in Christ and reserving for us a place with Himself in victory, at the end.

Please pray:

Lord, all we come to say today is, thank you for all that you do for us in all our troubles and travails by not allowing the enemy to triumph over us. Please, let our victories be permanent, in Jesus’ name. Do keep us up in you to remain in victory strides and never to be defeated ever, in Jesus’ name. Let the hope of our glory never fade or evaporate, dear Lord, in Jesus’ name.

Please share with others. God bless you.
