6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Promotion does not come from the east, west or south. The city of the North is Mountain Zion “where the Lord dwells”. From there promotion proceeds. Many scheme to become promoted in life doing all manner of abominable things from evil rituals to backbiting, lying, undue lobbying, assassination, bribing etc. Unless it is the will of God, no scheme of man avails. The Lord is the Governor of all the nations. He is the one that promotes as He wills. That promotion you seek can be given to you on a platter of gold by the Lord.
Mephibosheth was the grandson of King Saul and the only surviving heir in that lineage save his own direct son. The stable had been cleared of the Lord to allow the ascension of David. Mephibosheth had become lame and was kept away remotely. Yet, in his remotest state and obscure situation, God put the thought in the king to honor the house of Saul for Jonathan’s sake. Meanwhile, one of Saul’s servants had become a palace personality and was usurping, so to say, the rights of his master, Mephibosheth. This servant had acquired so much including servants unto himself. But one day, the tide turned: the servant was demoted to his old place and the obscured Mephibosheth brought to the palace to remain a participant on the king’s table thenceforth.
For a user of this Guide, the Lord will unseat the usurper of your throne and put you rightfully in his stead in Jesus name. David himself had experienced obscurity and never could have imagined that one day he would become king in Israel. But God is one that does as He pleases. He demoted king Saul for the sake of David whom He promoted instead. From the day of David’s promotion, Saul knew peace no more. The Lord has a word for you today: because you are on the side of the Lord, the occupier of the seat the Lord has purposed for you forfeits his peace from today until you attain the position in Jesus name. Stop looking to man for your elevation. Put all things in the hands of the Lord who only can promote. The arm of flesh will fail. Stick with the Rock that never fails.
Pray:
Father, I put my trust in you. That position that will cause your name to be glorified in my life, please take me there in Jesus name. Whatever I will do to cause a demotion, help me never to do it ever in Jesus name.
